Regulations for Lemvig Strand Camping ****

On a camping site a lot of people live together within a limited area. Their habits vary, which of course is part of the charm of camping. However, this also means that a few simple rules must apply in order to avoid some campers annoying others.

Stay on the Site

The camp wardens are responsible for peace and order and will assist should problems arise. The camp warden’s instructions are to be followed at all times.
You are requested to show consideration with regard to other campers and please note that noisy behavior is not permitted. During 11 pm to 7 am the site must be quiet. During your stay, driving must be restricted to essential journeys and these should be at walking pace (under 20 km/h).
Only ordinary tents and tent extensions on caravans may be used. Tent houses with fixed walls, windows and doors are not allowed. Caravans must be mobile, i.e. registered for driving under the Danish Highway Code or provided with the ID license number issued by DK-Camp.
Wind breaks of the type generally sold may be erected, but any other enclosure of individual pitches is not permitted. Flagpoles, aerials and similar may not be erected and digging on individual pitches is only allowed by agreement with the camp warden´s.
Trading on the site is only accepted with the camp warden’s permission.
Communal facilities, i.e. toilets, wash houses, kitchens, etc., should be left in the same condition as you would like to find them, i.e. clean and tidy. The waste containers set up on site must always be used.
Cars may only be washed (fee) at the car-washing site or another site indicated by the camp warden.

Fire and distance rules

Safety zone between the camping units shall be at least be 3 meters in accordance with the fire requirements for camping sites. The vehicle shall be placed in such a way that the neighbour’s placing arrangements are not reduced. The vehicle/fore-tent/fence shall be placed at least 1.5 meters from boundary stone/pole or line. The vehicle shall as far as possible, be parked lengthwise with the hedge. If you want to place the vehicle in a different way, you should obtain the proprietor’s approval.

Playing Facilities

Our camp site has a playground and playing field. Help your children find the grounds laid out for these purposes. Ball games are not permitted among tents and caravans.

Dogs

Dogs are admitted, but they must be on a short lead. They must not be unnecessarily noisy and they must be exercised outside the site or in a designated area. Always bring a plastic bag for any unforeseen accidents.

Departure

Please inform the camp warden of your time of departure as early as possible, especially during the rush period.
Unless otherwise arranged with the camp warden, your pitch or cabin should be vacated no later than 12 noon in a clean and tidy state.

Responsibility

The camp warden´s assume no responsibility for damage or loss of campers’ property. Anyone damaging buildings, equipment or fellow campers’ property is liable to pay damages in accordance with current rules for damage liability. Naturally, most of our guests behave in a considerate manner.
Sanctions against the few who do not adhere to the regulations of the camping site may be expulsion from Lemvig Strand Camping.

Nature and Environment

Please take good care of the environment and show due consideration – the future depends on you.

Season pitches

More detailed regulations regarding the mobility of mobile homes, the set-up of each pitch and DK-Camps ID license number scheme apply to guests who arrange to rent a pitch for a whole season at a campsite.
The regulations are usually included in the rental agreement for a season pitch, but guests may also request a copy from the camp warden.
